- Once you finish the first few missions, your main goal should be creating more Manors and increasing your resource output as quickly as possible.
- The daily tasks found by clicking the clipboard
in the upper left can also give you a good idea of what’s available for you.
- There are 5 basic steps to follow to guarantee a strong start.
1) Get Silver
2) Upgrade Research
3) Create & Develop Manors
4) Recruit Heroes
5) Train Heroes
Additionally, join a Guild as soon as possible! You’ll be missing out on a lot if you put this off! You can always switch to a stronger one later if you want, so just join one that catches your eye.
Your first priority should be to earning enough silver to upgrade the “Expansive Fiefdom” research to level 2 and building two additional manors. As you can see, the third level is much more expensive so it will take a bit longer to get.
Expansive Fiefdom:
|
Level 1
|
6,800 Silver
|
|
Level 2
|
13,700 Silver
|
|
Level 3
|
62,000 Silver
|
You’ll need 50+ light infantry to clear out bandits and create your first few manors, so make sure to get a few infantry recruiting soon. You shouldn’t go all out on recruiting an army early on though, just build a small strike force to use in the beginning.
Steps – Finish the tutorial FIRST, then:
1) Build some residences in your capital, upgrade them all to level 3
2) Once you have some residences established, you can start collecting taxes.
Just click the flashing silver coins hanging in the top left. Don’t collect taxes before you have residences, you won’t make enough money for it to be worthwhile. Remember to keep collecting taxes every time the tax icon flashes!
3) Make sure you’re training a few infantry in your capital. Cavalry or archers are acceptable too, but infantry will be quickest to start with.
4) Start training your first hero in the amphitheatre. Make sure to always keep as many heroes as possible in training! Don’t waste available training slots. (You will get an additional training slot at 100 development points, or if you raise your title.)
5) Keep upgrading resource output in your capital. You will soon be shipping resources from your capital to your first 2 manors – your silver manors – to help increase your silver output as quickly as possible. Your capital should be a “balanced manor” and your second and third manors should be “silver manors.” Check out the Advanced Guide – Manor Development section of the website for details on manor types.
6) Once you get 100 development points, you can start training a second hero in the amphitheatre. Recruit a second hero and start training!
7) Upgrade Expansive Fiefdom and build a new manor as soon as you can rally a squad to defeat the bandit defenders.
8) Develop your new manor by building resource buildings on all the specialty resource lots, building a warehouse and a granary, and then filling all the left over lots with residences.
If you ever need extra resources to develop your silver manors, there are several things you can do:
1) You can participate in games or quizzes at the “Hall of Trials” to get gems that can be exchanged for resources.
2) You can fight Historical Campaigns or Battle Royals in the arena.
3) You can go to the market and get some free resources once each day (you can use gold or coupons to get even more, if needed).
4) You can deliver goods from the post house in your capital for a small gold fee.
5) If you can’t afford delivery, you can rally a squad to carry the resources between your manors. You’ll find that Porters or Pack Mules are much more effective at transporting resources. You should also keep your eye out for heroes that have high politics, increased march speed, and/or increased carry load to use as a specialized delivery hero.
